Quantum Planet (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") operates the Sceneday service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws to protect the freedoms and rights of data subjects, processing personal information lawfully and managing it securely. In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company establishes and discloses the following personal information processing guidelines to inform data subjects of the procedures and standards regarding the processing of personal information, and to ensure that any related grievances are handled promptly and smoothly.

1. Service Use and Provision

Purpose: Content provision, provision of personalized services

Information stored on the device: Photo information (date, time, location, device information)

Service usage records: Device information (manufacturer, model, device system and system version, advertising identifier), posted date, time, and location information

Profile (optional): Mobile phone number, date of birth.

However, users must ensure the accuracy and legality of their information. If a user violates this obligation by inputting false information through various means, such as impersonating another individual, the company may report the user in accordance with applicable laws and may enforce mandatory withdrawal from the service.

2. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

The company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period stipulated by applicable laws or the period agreed upon by the user at the time of personal information collection. The specific retention and use periods for each type of personal information are as follows:

(1) Members: Personal information will be deleted 30 days after the member requests account deletion. However, if an investigation or inquiry related to a violation of applicable laws is ongoing, the information will be retained until the conclusion of such investigation or inquiry.

(2) Inactive Members: The personal information of members who have not logged in for one year after their last login will be stored and managed separately (converted to inactive member status) in accordance with Article 39-6 of the Personal Information Protection Act. The separated personal information will be retained for one year and then promptly destroyed. The company will notify the member in advance via email or other means at least 30 days prior to the conversion to inactive member status. The separated personal information will not be used or provided, except in cases where there are special provisions in relevant laws. If a member does not wish to be converted to an inactive account, they can log in to the service before the conversion. Additionally, even if converted to an inactive account, if the user logs in, the inactive account can be restored with the user's consent, allowing for normal service use.

3. Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information

The company will promptly destroy personal information when it is no longer necessary, such as upon the expiration of the retention period, achievement of the processing purpose, or upon the user's request for service termination. However, if the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved but the personal information must be retained under other laws, the information will be moved to a separate database (DB) or preserved in a different location. The procedures and methods for the destruction of personal information are as follows:

(1) Destruction Procedure: Personal information will be automatically destroyed when the retention and use period specified in Article 2 of the company's personal information processing policy has elapsed.

(2) Destruction Method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format will be destroyed using technical methods that prevent recovery and restoration, while personal information recorded and stored in paper documents will be destroyed by shredding or incineration.

4. Rights of Users and Methods of Exercise

Users have the right to access or modify their registered personal information at any time. If users do not agree to the company's processing of their personal information, they may refuse consent or request account termination (membership withdrawal). However, in such cases, access to some or all of the services may be restricted. To exercise these rights, users can click on 'Modify Member Information' to view or correct their personal information, or click on ‘Withdraw Membership‘ to terminate their account. Alternatively, users may contact the Personal Information Management Officer via email, and actions will be taken without delay.

5. Obligations of Users

Users are obligated to comply with the Personal Information Protection Act to safeguard their personal information. Users have a duty to protect their personal information securely, and the company is not responsible for any issues arising from the user's negligence. Users must accurately input and maintain their personal information in an up-to-date manner. The responsibility for any issues arising from inaccurate information input lies with the user. Users may lose their membership and be subject to penalties under personal information laws if they register or use services using another person's personal information. Users also have an obligation not to infringe upon or leak others' personal information, and mentioning or leaking personal information learned about other users during service use may result in penalties under relevant personal information laws.
